Zero S Electric Streetbike released!!

Zero Motorcycles has released photos, video, and specs for their highly-anticipated Zero-S street-legal motorcycle.

The successful 24 hours of Electricross event held this past weekend in California demonstrated the capabilities of the Zero dirtbike, as 10 of their bikes were flogged on a motocross track for 24 hours straight.

Now riders can take that capability to the streets with this new supermoto-styled Zero S!

Motorcycling is something we live and breathe. With all of the “green” technologies out there these days, we started seeing more and more people and companies applying these green technologies to motorcycles.

This Site is a collection of alternative-fueled motorcycles and powered bicycles. We cover 2-wheel and 3-wheel motorcycles that use green technologies such as electric motorcycles and bicycles, hydrogen motorcycles, and primarily anything other than the standard gasoline internal combustion engine powerplants. We will also cover even gasoline-powered internal-combustion engines, as motorcycles are the most “green” of the motorized transportation available, of the typical dino-powered vehicles.

Since motorcycles are already one of the greenest forms of transportation for those of us not quite ready to go to people-powered or pedaling all the time, we are excited to see so many builders and inventors using alternative technologies in our favorite vehicles. There are more and more people and companies developing electric and hydrogen-powered motorcycles in their garages and factory floors. We hope these technologies become more prevalent as the technology becomes developed further, both to preserve the environment and afford us efficient and convenient use of our preferred mode of transportation.
